Introduction:  Since my retirement in 1992, several of my friends have written books, and I have been asked over and over again, "why don't you write a book?"  I reply, "who would read it?".  After pondering the question, I realized that in retirement a person must keep himself busy or occupied, and since my daily activities are becoming less and less;  I have decided to write a book by me  about me in order to keep me busy. 

 During the adult years of my career, I have found that the persons who have enjoyed my public appearances the most are those have had a opportunity to talk about themselves during the "question and answer" period; so I am certain that I should enjoy the writing of this book, since I will get to talk about me.
